Examination Tips

The following exams tips ought to be noted well by students for a better result.
Ø  Get a good amount of sleep before the exam so you don’t feel tired during the exam.
Ø  Make sure you have all your equipment (e.g. Calculator, pencil, pen, rubber, ruler etc.)
Ø  Visit the toilet before the exam so you don’t have the urge to escape during the middle of the exam (sometimes they won’t even let you out).
Ø  Make sure you have all the sheets and papers necessary. Ask the invigilator if there seems to be something missing.

Ø  Before the exam, eat high energy food such as bananas and nuts as this will give you energy for the whole exam. DO NOT eat chocolates as this will get you very hyper which would mean you will not be able to focus your attention on the exam.

Homework Tips

The following homework tips ought to be noted well by students for a better academic result.
ü  Organise your homework by setting up a timetable.
ü  Don’t work all the way into the early morning, there is still another school day left.
ü  Don’t work in front of the television, you will just be distracted.
ü  Never leave homework to the last minute.
ü  Have a break between each subject so you don’t feel like you have a lot more work to do.

ü  Always complete your homework before your breaks otherwise when you come back to it, you would have lost all the research you had in your head.
