FINDING THE TRIGONOMETRY FUNCTIONS VALUES OF 300 and 600
To find the value of
the trigonometry function that corresponds to 300 and 600,
let consider the equilateral triangle above with side of length 2. Let the median
from one vertex to the opposite side bisects the angle at that vertex as shown
above.
By the Pythagorean Theorem,
the side opposite 600 in
the right triangle has the length root 3. Using the formulas
for trigonometric function of an acute angle of a right triangle, we obtain the
values corresponding to 300
and 600 as follows:

To find the value of
the trigonometry function that corresponds to 450, let consider an isosceles right triangle whose two
equal sides has length 1 as shown above. By the Pythagorean Theorem, the length
of hypotenuse is root 2. Hence the values corresponding to 450 are as follows:
